SPDMM Governance Framework

First adopted at SPDMM 2015, the latest version of the Governance Framework was adopted at SPDMM 2024 in New Zealand. The Governance Framework provides clarity on the role, purpose and mission of the SPDMM and its Secretariat and provides guidance on membership, including criteria for assessing applications.

POVAI ENDEAVOUR Cooperative Operations and Exercises Framework

First endorsed at SPDMM 2013, the POVAI ENDEAVOUR Cooperative Operations and Exercises Framework aims to improve interoperability between our militaries and coordinate activities in the Pacific. The Framework bolsters the SPDMM community's ability to work together through joint operations and exercises across three key themes:

• Maritime Security
• Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief, and
• Peacekeeping and stabilisation operations.
