The Pacific Response Group is a regional asset that enables more effective military co-deployments at times of crisis. It supports civilian-led Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) missions across the Pacific, at the request of an affected state.
The PRG builds on the Pacific’s proud record of collective action. It refines the way Pacific militaries come together to provide HADR support in an increasingly disaster-prone region.

The PRG formalises our approach, building upon a long history of cooperation.
The PRG is an asset by and for the region. It enables Pacific island countries without militaries to benefit from specialised military HADR support following a natural disaster or severe weather event.
