SPDMM 2025

Defence Ministers or their representatives from Australia, Chile, Fiji, France, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Tonga will gather in Chile for the tenth annual South Pacific Defence Ministers’ Meeting (SPDMM) from 22 to 24 October 2025. They will be joined by observers from Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Representatives from the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and the Oceania Directorates of Military Intelligence Meeting are invited to attend as guests.
